The feathery and steel work, Precipitous has just been installed in this year's Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition. Carbon steel, stainless steel, pigment, ostrich feathers, emu feathers. 2.3 x 1 x 1m variable and approximate.

After a long break, Alex Sanson’s work is again featured at the Toorak show. His kinetic work, Gyre, was suspended in the atrium of the Trak centre over the presentations for the inaugural exhibition in 2005. See here for details of Gyre: alexsanson.com/gyre-kinetic-sculpture/
