The used and discarded soaps in this exhibition are the donations from friends, family, acquaintances and colleagues. Personal soaps that have been used to specifically wash their bodies are donated only at the very point of being considered “expired”. These soaps are covered with fine Polaroid “skins” depicting body fragments. Each piece of soap is identified by its donation date.
