Social OrnamentsPeter Nowotny

Peter Nowotny works are the product of breaking down an image into layers of form and colour creating bold, exciting pieces. 
By means of abstraction, he succeeds in translating the figurative presence of his portraits into formal, ornamental patterns. Wishing to add a third dimension to his motifs, he decided to transfer several paintings to a glass sculpture.

Zauberwald | Magic Forest Zauberwald | Magic Forest Ingo Bracke 5 - 31 May 2015

The exhibition shows the pictures of "Felsenzauber", a Light Art Projekt in Bavarian Alps by the light artist Ingo Bracke.
The atist created an nocturnal art experience in one of the most spectacular canyons in Kiefersfelden. Sections complete darkness alternated with mystical tree groups, lighting arrangements in rock domes, video projections on bizarre granite massifs or dreamy light houses.

Chalk Wax Wood Reiner Seliger | Carlos Estrada-Vega | Kevin Finklea

This exhibition gathers the works of three artists interested in the natural character of the material. Seliger's works are composition of broken fragments of colored chalk on aluminium board. Estrada-Vega's creations are made up of a series of small canvases attached to a metal base plate by means of magnets. Kevin creates plywood and wood reliefs started out as scraps from other projects.
