Studio 246 is a big multifunction arts space located in the central arts and retail district of Sydney Rd, Brunswick. It is well suited to large scale installations and performance art. It can be used as an unconventional / industrial style gallery space for 2D and mixed work.
It has its own kitchenette, toilet and store room. Studio 246 does not have a standing liquor licence but many events have obtained temporary licences for the space without any difficulty.
Proprietor, Leon van de Graaff, is a professional sculptor, video maker and audio-visual technician with over 20 years experience in technical support for the visual and performing arts. He is available for advice and technical support.
