All Visual Arts (AVA) was founded in 2007 by gallerist and writer Joe la Placa and Mike Platt, CEO of Bluecrest Capital Management. Both a private art collection and an active force within the contemporary art world, the organization represents at present seven artists as well as engaging in direct commissions with leading and emerging artists around the world.
Internationally recognized for promoting contemporary art through innovative themed shows in unusual locations in London such as The Age of the Marvellous in 2009 at the Holy Trinity Church in Marylebone and Vanitas: The Transience of Earthly Pleasure at 33 Great Portland Place in 2010, All Visual Arts moved to its permanent 5,000 square foot gallery space at 2 Omega Place, Kings Cross in September 2010.
Joined by its new Director Mark Sanders, the organization now runs a regular programme of exhibitions through its new gallery, highlighting both the work of the artists that it represents and through the development of new themed exhibitions and group shows. As such, All Visual Arts continues to redefine the mould of art collecting through being pro-active in its stance towards contemporary art.
