Claudia Altman-Siegel opened the Altman Siegel Gallery on January 23rd, 2009. The gallery features a robust schedule of exhibitions by important emerging and established artists, punctuated and deepened by historical exhibitions. Its program focuses on internationally recognized, museum-level artists whose work contributes to the cultural dialogue domestically and abroad. The gallery discovers and presents significant Bay Area artists and brings internationally established artists to San Francisco for the first time.

In addition to its energetic exhibition program, Altman Siegel Gallery provides private advisory services to individuals establishing new collections, to those seeking to deepen mature collections, and to those seeking to resell significant works. The gallery is also available to serve as a liaison for individuals seeking to acquire or sell works at auction or on the domestic or international art markets.

Claudia Altman-Siegel is an independent curator, writer, and private dealer. She was formerly the senior director of Luhring Augustine, New York. Altman-Siegel has organized numerous museum and gallery exhibitions.
