INVESTING IN PRINTS: FLOOR TALK

They quickly attracted art collectors and remain an integral part of art collections as art connoisseurs have continued to add new prints to their collections.

Kate Briscoe

The title of this exhibition is also the title of a series of aquatints depicting barren stretches of sand and weathered rock. Within these strange, alien landscapes a solitary figure moves between skeletal outcrops and occasional struggling bushes. These prints, which were inspired by Lake Mungo in Southern NSW, suggest a prescience of things to come and a reflection of things past.
