Art Gallery in City of London, United Kingdom.

Almanac Projects is a non-profit space dedicated to showing art in various forms and engaging with ways art can become a part of the daily rhythms of life. We are interested to explore the borders of curatorial agency and the potential of cultural change through creative collaborations. Regarding the exhibition as an act of communication, we aim to facilitate dialogue as a way of opening up artistic practices to new registers of thought.

By focusing on solo shows of young artists as well as a complementary programme of events and performances, our collective motivation is to actively support artists in their individual practice and to provide a deeper knowledge of these practices to the public. These activities also form a part of our commitment towards stimulating public engagement.

Located on the ground floor of the creative warehouse ‘Terrain’ in Dalston, five minutes walk from Dalston Junction Station, Almanac Projects incorporates an exhibition space, project and event areas, publications and a space for critical discussions.

Almanac was founded by Astrid Korporaal, Francesca von Zedtwitz-Arnim and Guido Santandrea, and is run by Astrid Korporaal and Guido Santandrea.
