Coleman Project Space was established in 2003 on a street level accessible site, which was formerly a ladies hairdressers. The focus of our programme is work that has never been previously exhibited.
We are a not-for-profit organisation, which is run by a board that support the director in programming decisions, in order to ensure a breadth in what we exhibit.
Each year we have a residency programme in which an artist is invited to produce new work in response to the space. We have a strong collaborative ethos, working closely with the artists, curators, the general public and many other organisations.
