Megan Walch: Verge

This body of paintings on paper developed from a working process in which I wanted to distance myself from mannered mark making. I decided to work from photographs of patterns in my immediate natural environment. These images were random arrangements made from a multiple motif: a repetition of an individual unit where each is slightly different and unique.
