Marisa Purcell'Loom'

This body of work began with a motivation to gain a glimpse into unfathomable vastness. The language of abstraction allows for a non-cognitive dialogue with the unified field, where the process of painting itself reveals previously unimagined possibilities. The result is a series of paintings that seem to arise from nothing, as though they are atoms springing into existence from the cosmic void.

Michael Doolan'World within World'

Through the de- and re-construction of Disney's well known fairy tale images, characters and core motifs, and their realisation in three dimensional form, World within World seeks to contribute to this long established "heritage of adjustment" by proposing new ways of both reading and decoding the fairy tale.

McLean Edwards No Immunity

McLean Edwards' exhibition No Immunity, will include a series of his signature figurative paintings and a suite of 16 portraits of friends. Talking about the work, Edwards prefers literary references to painterly ones. "My work's like reading a book with the chapters all jumbled up, but it's still a book" he says. The jumble is deliberate and unavoidable. Edwards' thinking is not straightforward.

In this exhibition, Heather B. Swann lays bare one of her central preoccupations: wildness and containment, and the nexus or relationship between the beast and the body.
