Lucky?

Lucky? explores the history and effects of gold-mining and the pursuit of wealth in Australia through a contemporary lens. Co-curated by Sophia Cai and Claire Watson, the exhibition brings together a range of works that speak to issues relating to exploitation and mining of the land for gold and desecration of Country.

If you’re into knitting, macramé, quilting, embroidery, tapestry, patchwork, felting or work with any other textile based craft then we welcome you to be part of Craft Lab+ by taking up residence at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre from 19 May to 29 July and help create a community of crafters. Crocodility

Crocodility is an ancient term for the deliberate use of unsound reasoning, derived from an enduring logic problem known as the Crocodile Paradox. Giving visual form to what is usually a literary device, this exhibition brings together a selection of paintings, sculptures, videos and new media works that reflect the slippery characteristics that we associate with the paradoxical.
