The gallery is located in Hampstead, which has a rich artistic tradition; many actors, artists, and musicians through the ages have been drawn to the charm of a village community only 15 minutes from the center of town. Constable painted on Hampstead Heath, the poet Keats lived here. The Catto Gallery is proud of the local heritage and has become a cultural focal point, staging 12 exhibitions a year. The gallery has also many international buyers who are attracted by the excellent quality of the artwork available.
