For over 30 years Gallery Delaive has specialized in Modern and Contemporary Art.
The Gallery is located in Het Spiegelkwartier, an area in Amsterdam well known for its art galleries, near the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum, and the Van Gogh Museum.
An important feature of the gallery is the large collection of original works by Sam Francis on paper and canvas. Gallery Delaive has the largest collection of original works by Sam Francis in the world. In addition, the gallery also offers lithographs, etchings, and screenprints of Sam Francis.
Gallery Delaive was the exclusive representative for Niki de Saint Phalle in the Netherlands. Throughout the years, Niki de Saint Phalle and Nico Delaive enjoyed a special friendship, which lasted untill her death in 2002. The gallery still has a large collection of her work in stock. The gallery also specializes in Karel Appel, and always has a collection of original works in stock.
Gallery Delaive is the worldwide representative of upcoming Japanese artist Ayako Rokkaku. We participate in TEFAF Maastricht, Kunstrai Amsterdam, and Art Cologne.
