City of Greater Dandenong’s annual exhibition, HOME, has announced six shortlisted national artists from a refugee or asylum seeker background. Their artworks will be on display at the Walker Street Art Gallery from 18 October – 24 November 2018 and all artists will receive $1000 each from sponsor IKEA Springvale, to support the development of new work.

A live-art public assembly will be held at the opening, followed by a gallery exhibition.

Transposed onto the articulate bodies of dancers, and parallel with Australia's burgeoning queer diversity, CHINTZ offers subjects equivocal in gender and motive. Maximilian and Tatjana Plitt's photographic collaboration explores notions of imprecise interpretation and value.
