We started in 2016, as an enterprise of José Brazuna, our founder partner. Initially we presented an installation know as “#projetoimpala62” at “Feira Parte” (a local art fair at São Paulo). This installation was made of several parts of a Impala 62, acting as a support to 6 street artist. The Impala was “re-built” in a 8 meters tall tower.
Following this project we finally launched our gallery, at the pleasant neighborhood of Butanta, at São Paulo, Brazil.
“Casa Jacarepaguá” name is a reference to José Brazuna childhood, at Jacarepaguá district, in Rio de Janeiro.
Our DNA is deeply linked to Brazilian street art, focused in new born talents. São Paulo is one of the most famous “nests” of new urban artists, and it´s our intention to present them globally.
