Welcome to the Outback Regional Gallery in Winton, the heart of Western Queensland. This, the first purpose-built Art Gallery west of the great divide, opened in 1998, with Images of Australia, a million-dollar exhibition of paintings from the Queensland Art Gallery, including works by Streeton, McCubbin, Roberts, Drysdale, Olsen, Nolan and Molvig. The Gallery program includes work by local and regional artists, as well as national touring exhibitions.
