Petra Reece Lustre

The paintings in this exhibition are predominantly about fabric and light. I work from life so I spend quite some time choosing and setting my 'models'. These are a large array of various pieces of silverware, ceramic vases and bowls. I arrange the materials on which they sit with great care to make full use of the folds and creases and the way they catch the light.
