Lucy grew up in a red rattler train carriage with a big black dog as a caretaker. She is currently studying medicine and has worked as a scientist in an infectious diseases lab and as a respite carer for children with additional needs.
Her past work includes an installation of identikit images drawn on old handkerchiefs at Intrude Gallery that delved into the world of Melbourne’s petty criminals. These were based on the crimestoppers pages in daily newspapers and on her research into American prison inmates. Inmates would utilize the prison issued handkerchiefs for their lightweight and easy folding qualities to send drawings to loved ones.
