Bernadette Trench-Thiedeman is an artist born in Australia, currently working in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Bernadette Trench-Thiedeman is a multi-disciplinary artist/performer who works with animation, digital media, painting, drawing, sculpture, spatial design , installation and theatre making.

She has received Australian and international commissions, including from the Ice Hotel Sweden, the Melbourne International Food and Wine festival, and from private collectors. She has toured with the giant puppet company the Snuff Puppets, and has puppeteered for Lyric Opera, Museum Victoria and independent theatre companies.

For the past 10 years she has worked as a visual and performing arts facilitator for organizations such as Marninwarntikura Fitzroy Women’s Resource Centre, Mangkaja Arts, Theatre Kimberley, Goolarri Media Enterprises, Arts Access Victoria, Arts Project Australia and the Melbourne Museum. She is also a founding member of the Merri Corner Community Garden in Brunswick, Victoria.
