Based on a novella by Cesare Pavese, this early work from the legendary Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni chronicles the lives and loves of a group of woman defining their place in post war Italy. The film follows Clelia (Eleonora Rossi Drago), who has returned to Turin to work for a high end fashion house.
