Jay Robinson is an artist.

Jay Robinson graduated from Adelaide Centre for the Arts, completing a double degree in drama and dance in 2006. Since then Jay has created his own opportunities within the dance industry. He presented Shelf Life with Bare Bone Collective at the 2009 Adelaide Fringe and in August/September he spent two months secondment with Dancenorth. The company then invited Jay to perform in their double bill Dis-Integration – a dance theatre piece created by international choreographers Paolo Castro and Jo Stone. In recognition of his achievements as an independent dancer and the opportunities he has created for himself, Jay recently won the $2,000 Keith Michell Award which is sponsored by Southern Theatre and Arts Supporters and the Friends of the Helpmann Academy.
