William Sim is a male artist, currently working in Singapore.

William Sim started painting from the age of 10 under the guidance of pioneer artist Tan Puay Tee.

He graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1991 and has since participated in numerous exhibitions, including STAMP (2007), a public art competition supported by the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) Architecture and Urban Design Excellence (A•UDE) Promotion Programme to transform the ubiquitous mailbox. Taking his fantasy realm of pure happiness to another level through painting, William Sim builds on a previous exhibition in 2009 bearing the same name. “Happiness Private Limited 2010” sees the artist portraying how time, space and happiness exist in relation to one another. William’s axis mundi is the fantastic landscape, where love is powerful and overwhelming. In this imaginative dimension, birds thrive in deep waters, earthbound fish, ethereal earwigs and pygmy blue whales frolic in beautiful worlds.
