Ringo Bunoan is an artist born in Philippines, currently working in Philippines.
1974, lives and works in Manila, The Philippines An active organiser of art events in Manila, Ringo Bunoan’s practice addresses memory, shared experience and community life through her installations, which use everyday objects to create monumental forms. With scale, she foregrounds the presentness of her material and explores both its physical and psychological dimensions. Bunoan received her BFA in Art History from the College of Fine Arts, University of the Philippines. Solo exhibitions including Archiving Roberto Chabet, Jorge B. Vargas Museum, University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines (2009) and Pillow Talk, Silverlens Gallery, Manila, Philippines (2008). Ringo Bunoan was the founder and curator of Big Sky Mind, artist‐run initiative, Manila, The Philippines (1999 – 2004).
