Wonky

Polly Borland's series Wonky presents an idiosyncratic and touching meditation on love, juxtaposed with a unique selection of her documentary photographs, images that have informed Wonky. Borland's initial inspiration for the series began when she relocated from London to Hollywood, with its promise of glamour and prevailing artificiality.

Polly Borland: Everything I want to be when I grow up

Polly Borland's photographic practice has straddled commercial/photographic documentary, and fine art practice, and is characterised by an edgy sensibility that lends her images tension and resonance. Let the Healing Begin

The idea that art makes us better people, that it heals our souls, is an anathema. In the art world, 'art therapy' is the butt of endless jokes. Nevertheless, contemporary art is riddled with therapeutic subtexts and strategies. Let the Healing Begin features works that address therapy. Some of the works endorse therapeutic imperatives, some satirise them, others are undecided.
