Cigdem Aydemir is a Sydney based Australian artist of Turkish Muslim heritage. Her interdisciplinary art practice incorporates sculpture, performance, installation, photography and video. She explores the convergence of gender, religious and cultural identities as well as themes of body politics and consumption.
