Australian born French Artist Aymeric De Meautis. Born 1986.

A rich history of artists and artistic skill and creativity throughout his family’s history.

Tutored by various well known Australian artists in his early years.

Throughout primary school, received numerous merit awards solemnly for displaying amazing art skills at such an early age.

In Yr3 (8yrs) came first in the school and represented St Ives North Primary School in Barnardos charity art competition.

In 2000 (13yrs) joined SSDEC (Sydney Secondary Distance Education Centre) of Dover Height High School and was granted this position only because of his talent and thus was allowed to study art part time in an art school. Half his studies going to the normal academics of high school and the other half towards art studies and practice.

Studied part time at Julian Ashton Art School (2000-2002).
Record youngest aged student (13yrs) to been granted admission into the prestigious fine arts school.

2001 Exhibition at Alliance Francaise de Sydney. Aged 14.

Two years running Winner of Hornsby Fine Arts Society Competition (2000- 2002, First art competition entered prior to Barnardos). In 2003 received 2nd place, but was told would of received 1st if had a better frame on the work entered. 2003 was the last time entered and last art competition entered since.

Tutored by Patrick Bernard: Master of Fine arts and the dean of Raffles Design College Sydney (2001-2004). Been said to be the most talented student he has ever taught.

High 90’s HSC result in Fine Arts with high distinctions every year prior in high school.

2006 featured 2 works in the Natfel Art Gallery Opening in Woloomoloo.

Bursary of $500 granted by the University of Sydney in 2006 and another in 2007 for being a distinction average student in VH000 (Bachelor of Visual Arts).

2007 featured as one of the main running artists in Fashique Event @ Ruby Rabbit Night Club.

2007 Featured in MX magazine, article “Nights out inspire art”.

Graduated from Sydney University College of the Arts in early 2008: Majoring in Fine Arts: Painting (VH000), and minoring in Print Media 3rd Year.

2008 – For a duration of one year, art works featured on the front page of the University of Sydney’s website.

2008 Exhibition at “The Wall” World Bar, Kings Cross Sydney.

2008 Featured in ‘No Tears’ designer magazine. Second issue “Chaos & Order”.

2008 Granted the Digital Internship position at Universal Music Australia.

Received honours and praise from Universal Music artists such as Duffy, DJ Nino Brown, DJ Havana Brown, CDB, Taylor Swift, Sam Sparro, Presets, Cut Copy, Spiderbait, Tame Impala, Lady Hawke, Children Collide, Dash and Will and many more for demonstrating unique design skills and creative design solutions. Internship was originally 3 months, but extended to 5 months because of exceptional results.

2009 Worked at one of Australia’s largest VFX companies – Fuel VFX.

2009 accepted into Design Centre Enmore learning Digital Media.

2009 graduated from DCE.

2009 Freelance video editing and motion graphics career begun.

2010 enrolled at Randwick College working on Screen and Media.

Working on productions, focusing on 3D animation, video editing and motion graphics.
