Le Coq | Benjamin Sheppard at Counihan Gallery in Brunswick 16 August - 16 September

Le Coq is a new series of works Sheppard created during a residency in the medieval town of Caylus in France last year. Le Coq takes its cue from the rich narrative of nationalism to explore our complex, contradictory and sometimes contentious relationship with systems of power and governance.
