Lyne Marshall is an Australian artist based at Tallegalla in rural Queensland, Growing up on an island and living on a mountain range for over 25 years has influenced her focus on creating artwork based on wilderness areas. In the years since her arts graduation in 1994 Marshall has vigorously pursued this theme and exhibited widely, in both Australia and overseas, including Japan, China, Hong Kong, NZ and the USA. Represented by several Australian galleries, her travelling exhibition, Hidden Dimensions, featuring some of the artworks from her books, has visited six larger regional galleries throughout Queensland from 2011 to 2013.

In an attempt to comprehend creative processes, Marshall developed a passionate interest in research, and this underpins all aspects of her art career. With the initial intention of helping herself grow she soon realized that developing a strong focus was something that a lot of artists struggled with, and her attention moved towards helping others to find direction and maintain momentum.

As a practicing artist she has now written, illustrated, and published three books on art philosophy and the creative process, Gleaner or Gladiator: The Struggle to Create, Invisible Realities: Finding the Hidden Dimensions in Art and Harnessing the Power of the CREATIVE SPIRAL. Having designed workshops around her discoveries she also writes on the creative journey on her blog on http://www.lynemarshall.com.au
