Artist Biography

Michael, the eldest son of a large I rise family, spent his early years in England before mowing to Australia with his family in 1960. He was educated in Melbourne and developed his interest in art at an early age.

While working through university Michael took up commercial photography to generate income and also engaged in paining and sculpture.

Michael worked in education for many years and worked with disadvantaged groups across Australia, where he became continually drawn to the outback.

Since 2001 Michael has increased his artistic output with exhibitions in regional Victoria and Melbourne, with commission work in Australia, Middle East and Europe. Michael has developed a reputation for quality expressive works that are beautiful.

Recently completing further studies in Visual Arts in Melbourne, Michael has expanded his range of media to photography, print making and sculpture, while maintaining his painting practice.
