Dummy text to replace: Grievous Charm is a delicately delicious, hysterically sweet, blunt and aggressive video and sculptural installation. The exhibition is dedicated to untangling and re-webbing contemporary stereotypes about gender, identity and sexuality, repositioning and muddying narrowly prescribed notions of social success.

Raisin encapsulates widely-circulated images, actions and objects, resulting in a self-reflexive, playful and sometimes humiliating examination of media and social expectations. Her dark and somewhat hammy work treads a fine line between success and failure, love and psychosis.
