MADE in CHINA

This work is presented in two version, one is a single channel video; another one is a multimedia installation.

The single channel version is a 10-munites piece in DVD format, which is simply and straightly projected in full-size with soundtrack in a space. The installation version consists of two 10-minutes simultaneous DVD projections, one soundtrack and one object – a Chinese traditional trunk of the Ming dynasty style but made of transparent Plexiglas, which is like the suitcase or container used to store clothes or family treasures.

The trunk dimension is 27.5 × 20.5 × 19.75 inches / 70 × 52 × 50 cm (L x W x H).
