20 artists will be accepted for each session!
Discipline:  visual artists, writers, performers
Offered program: residency, seminar, artist talk, exhibition.
The residency will be 20 days long in a beautiful 4 star castle, close to the Austrian border.  Closing exhibition is organized in Budapest at a well known downtown gallery!
3 meal/day, transportation from/to Graz or Vienna Airport, local transportation, studio and exhibition is offered in the price.  Also, you can participate in a special Anti-Aging, wellness, massage, fitness program, that you need to indicate at your application form.  It is an extra cost.

The Hungarian Multicultural Center, Inc.® (HMC), 501©(3) non-profit organization, invites interested visual artists, writers, performers to submit application for its residency program in Budapest, Hungary.
HMC is dedicated to promoting international art and the understanding of world cultures, through high quality art exhibitions, cultural exchanges and related educational programs. Based in Dallas and Budapest, the organization operates throughout the world. Its principal focus is an international residency program to which artists from around the world are invited. The goal is to provide a supportive community with uninterrupted time to work.

The residencies offer participants to interact with other artists representing a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Accepted applicants are expected to speak and understand English. Approximately 6 artists are invited for each session. The residence offers shared room/bath as living quarters. Studio, room, workshop, exhibition, seminar and gallery tour are included in the cost. For performers organize theaters.

A.I.R. International Artists Residencies/Exhibition- BUDAPEST, Hungary
Great opportunity for artists: Culture is the true identity power. In this context the major role of the artists is to promote through art cultural diversity and preserve common values. Intercultural dialogue through art is an important instrument.
While HMC does not provide funding for residencies, we are helping to facilitate the creation of programs and support the costs of the exhibitions.

We are proud to announce that our residency/seminar/exhibition program due to it’s success has been expanded.

The Hungarian Multicultural Center (HMC) is currently accepting applications for the Budapest -International Artist/Writer Residencies. The HMC invites interested visual artists, musicians, film makers and writers to submit application for its residencies program.
